I’m your London proposal photographer whose focus is on helping you build and live the moment, not just depict it.

Over the past decade I’ve developed a method that transforms a standard proposal photoshoot into a meaningful and immersive experience so that, in the end, you bring home not just pretty pictures but actual memories worth remember.

  • Language matters. Words like “photoshoot” do not feel good to me considering what I actually deliver through my work.

    However, I must use those terms in order for amazing humans just like you to find me.

    Please know that the more appropriate term to describe what this business is about would be “immersive experience”. Photography is just a part of it.

  • Throughout my work I do not use AI.

    Know that behind all communication, from this very page to emails and messages there’s me — Patricia, a real human being — reading your words, absorbing your story.

    This is also valid for any creative part of this job, be it the before, the during or even the post-production. Every moment depicted is held individually, edited individually, felt individually.

Your London proposal photographs should be more than just images: they should be gateways to feeling and memory.

Photographers often get so caught up in the aesthetics of a perfect image (the stiff poses and forced smiles) that they miss the genuine emotion of the moment. But your London proposal shouldn’t be (nor feel like) a performance. It should be a reflexion of who you are as a couple and make you feel something real instead.

Story-gathering

Be it through a 30-min call or a fun questionnaire that you can complete at your own rhythm, the goal is for me to gather snippets of your love story, personalities and needs so I can design an experience that is actually yours, not a “one-size-fits-all”.

Written exercises and conversation prompts

Think pop-up questions for you to answer to each other that makes you immerse in your own love bubble and forget about me. The written exercise is an excellent cue to pop the question as it builds the moment naturally.

Tailored playlist

This one might depend on the chosen location for your experience but if you go for an afternoon in the woods a tailored playlist based on your top favourite 3 to 5 songs will help make this moment even more special, intimate and, above all, yours.

Structure & Investment

Your relationship is unique, therefore, you deserve an experience that will be yours and yours only.

There’s no “one-size-fits-all” which is why you won’t find any “pre-made packages” here. I take an immense amount of joy in designing truly curated romantic experiences for my couples and I’m beyond excited to design yours, based on your specific dynamic, personalities and needs.

Be it a surprise proposal in an iconic neighborhood in London or a more private afternoon in the park with a romantic picnic, I’m here to bring your vision to life.

Minimum duration: 2 hours long because connection and presence can’t be rushed.

Meet your London proposal photographer

My dearest human,

I’m Patrícia (she/her), your London proposal photographer, also available in Lisbon and beyond.

I’ve been designing highly intentional and romantic experiences for discerning and high-achieving humans like you since 2017. A lot of my inspiration comes from my own relationship. I’ve been with my boyfriend since 2012 and life has taught us in some pretty creative ways that connection and presence are things that must be nurtured, not just taken for granted.

Throughout the years, I’ve developed a very unique approach to photography (The Intentional Method) that will provide you a safe space and time to deepen the bond you already share through laughter, hands-on and fun exercises, and conversation starters, all focused on connection and intentional presence.

This is a safe space and a safe business for every and all human beings. There is no space for hate speech or obsolete stereotypes here.

Where do I even start? There are so many things I want to share about our experience. Patricia is probably one of the most accommodating business owners I have dealt with. I am not one for Social Media ads until I saw Patricia’s page on it – and it was one of the best match algorithms has done!

She will happily answer all your questions, be it about what to wear, whereabouts in your chosen location that are great and even the level of awkwardness one may have. She is very approachable and communicative – all responses are prompt. She happily adjusted for when we had to reschedule the original schedule. She gave clear directions and a breakdown of what we should expect on the day of the experience as well.

On the day of the experience, it was just so easy to get along with Patricia and Fernando. They made us feel at ease. They have planned the logistics according to our chosen theme so efficiently. For us, the best thing they did on the day was not make us do scripted shots. We did what we normally do – laughed, talked, acted silly. They made it easier to be comfortable and to just be ourselves.

How she delivered such high-quality photos in such little time is just unfathomable to us. Maybe it’s the passion in her craft. She captured the real, raw, unfiltered us in a short span of time and we could not be happier with the photos so much that we already had a photobook printed out with the photos.

This may be the first time we did a photoshoot as a couple but it definitely won’t be the last! Again, thank you so much for this experience! Definitely one for the books for us. Muito obrigada!

Booking & Payments

    1. Fill the form to set a date

    2. Sign the contract and pay your deposit (50%)

    It is an easy and transparent process that ensures we are on the same page and that you will get the experience you deserve.

    • Bank transfer

    • Credit card (through Stripe; fees may apply)

    • Revolut

    • Cash (for the final payment, in hands)

  • Usually I work with 2 × 50%. Depending on the experience, I’m happy to accept 4 × 25%.

    A non-refundable deposit is always necessary to book your date(s).

  • Considering how tailored and important a Lisbon proposal is, I recommend at least 1 month in advance. This leaves us with enough time to actually plan every detail, especially when choosing private venues.

The Experience

  • I always keep my eyes on forecast starting a week before your proposal and checking it daily ensuring both your comfort and light conditions.

    If it unexpectedly rains on the day of your proposal we can either postpone it, choose a more sheltered location or dance in the rain — depending on how adventurous you are :)

    If the session cannot safely take place due to severe weather or safety concerns, and postponing it is not a possibility, then it will be cancelled and your deposit fully refunded.

  • Yes, you can. However, be aware that your paid deposit is non-refundable (this will be stated in the contract).

  • Yes. Sometimes life happens so you can always count with my flexibility and understanding if you have to reschedule your experience.

  • I’m proud to say that I know the streets of London pretty well. From major iconic landmark places such as Westminster or Camden to quieter neighborhoods like Belsize or Hampstead.

    Once you reach out I’m happy to suggest the best locations/areas depending on your personalities and what you envision. London holds a lot of great options for meaningful marriage proposals and coming up with the best routes is one of my favourite parts of planning your experience!

Photography

  • My photo sessions are not regular photo sessions.

    They are intentionally designed to slow down, (re)connect and relax.

    None of those things would be able to be accomplished in a 30 minutes experience nor even a one hour experience.

    The first half an hour alone will be dedicated to make you feel comfortable, to get to know you, embrace your fears, hear you.

    For that reason, my experiences start at 2 hours long ‘cause there’s no way we can rush true connection.

  • Yes! I can totally be your shadow for the entire day and capture every moment of this exquisite experience for you.

  • Sunset is always the best choice.

    I know a lot of people suggest sunrise but by that time is usually when the city is being cleaned meaning trash bags are out everywhere.

    However, each location and season offers different light and accessibility conditions so I’ll guide you based on your chosen location and date so we can ensure the absolute best for you!

  • You won’t get any RAW images.

    And I won’t edit your images in a different style than mine.

    When choosing me as your memories keeper you’re choosing my art, my vision and my own style that took years and a lot of work to develop.

    It’s ok if you don’t identify or like my photography style, we all have different tastes. But if that’s the case, please choose another photographer.

    There are many talented professionals in the market and I’m sure you’ll find one that will have a photography style that matches your vision and personal taste.
